About Us

The Martial Art School - Nottingham was founded in 2003 by Sensei Ilja Hoffmann. For the first three and a half years our school was located on Dakeyne Street, before we moved in January 2007 to our new location on Ashley Street, where we closely cooperate with the team of the Bushido-MMA Academy.

Being located only a few minutes away from Nottingham city center, the Martial Art School can easily be reached by public transport. Our facility is professionally equipped and provides e.g. two permanent matted areas, box ring, punch bag area, a multi function room, a small gym for Fitness, Weight and Cardio Training as well as a treatment room for Sports Therapy. We offer a variety of martial arts classes such as Budo Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Ju-Jutsu and Mixed Martial Arts as well as Personal Training and Self-Defence Courses.
