The Bujinkan Dojo - Nottingham
was founded in 2003 by Shidoshi Ilja Hoffmann as a part of the Martial Art School - Nottingham. The
martial arts taught by us are known under the name Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and incorporate the teachings
of nine different Ninja (Ninjutsu) and Samurai (Ju-Jutsu) schools, which are listed below.

Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu composes of both, armed and unarmed fighting methods, which are
practised in their traditional forms as well as in modern self-defence applications.
During your training, you will be taught how to roll, punch, kick and throw correctly,
how to fight on the ground as well as how to apply pressure points, wrist locks, arm
bars and other techniques. Further, you will be shown how to handle traditional Japanese
weapons such as Swords (Tachi, Katana, Wakazashi), Staffs (Bo, Jo, Hanbo), Nawa (Rope),
Naginata (Glaive), Shuriken (Throwing Stars) and more.
Adult Classes: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7.45pm till 9pm
Kids Classes: Mondays & Wednesdays from 5.45pm till 6.45pm
